The Friend of Farm Bureau Award is presented jointly by Missouri Farm Bureau and the American Farm Bureau Federation. The national award is given only to members of Congress who are extremely supportive of family farmers. Missouri Farm Bureau President Blake Hurst, a farmer from Westboro, Mo., will present the award to Luetkemeyer.
“Representing Missourians in northeast Missouri for the past four years, Blaine has connected with farmers and ranchers. He understands their challenges and diligently represents their common-sense values in Congress,” said Hurst. “His actions in Washington reflect the needs of his constituents and make the Congressman very deserving of this award.”
